At Boulevard Health Center, providing quality care for our patients and families is not only our business; it is our passion. Our work has a vital purpose, but for us it does not end there. Boulevard strongly believes in giving back and this is ingrained in our community. We are proud of our sense of duty to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
We are honored to be giving back to the communities who have entrusted the care of their loved ones to us. Our leadership and staff are actively involved in many noble causes. We not only provide financial support; our team members contribute numerous hours of their time to help others. Through community involvement, volunteerism and philanthropic efforts, Boulevard has the distinction of being a leader in the effort to provide for others. As an important part of the Pomeroy Living Family, Boulevard demonstrates a different way to care.
Boulevard Fights Alzheimer’s Disease
Boulevard Health Center joins the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease. Along with her sister facility, Cherrywood Nursing & Living Center, and parent company, Pomeroy Living, Boulevard has committed to raise a substantial amount for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s taking place August 23, 2014 at Ford Field. This event for the Alzheimer’s Association is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research programs. Together Boulevard’s staff works to battle the nation’s sixth leading cause of death. Company representatives Denise Hubbard, RN, and Deborah Naylor have the honor of serving as chair and co-chair for the walk.
Boulevard supports the 6th Annual “Run Drugs Out of Town”
Families against Narcotics (FAN) is holding their 6th annual “Run Drugs Out of Town” on July 19, 2014 at Frasier High School. Boulevard Health Center is a proud Patron Sponsor for this event.
FAN’s mission is “to raise awareness of the prescription opiate drug abuse epidemic, to reduce the stigma and change the face of addiction, to educate about the dangers of prescription drug abuse and its potential to lead some to illegal narcotic use and to support those affected by drug abuse or addiction.”
Boulevard Health Center supports FAN in their community efforts to save lives. Boulevard and our sister facility, Cherrywood Nursing & Living Center, have proudly been sponsors for FAN’s Fall Fest dinner fundraiser for the previous three years.
